The Trinity Story
Trinity School is an 11 to 19 co-educational Christian school based in the heart of Sevenoaks.
The school was founded in September 2013 as a Free School. It was set up by a group of local churchgoers who had longstanding concerns about Sevenoaks students having to commute long distances out of town to pursue secondary education; and the shortage of places in nearby Church secondary schools. In February 2012 the team applied to the Department for Education for permission to set up the school, and in July 2012 they heard that their application had been successful. From the start the vision was supported by 30 local churches of many different denominations.
The first cohort of students was welcomed through the gates in September 2013. We now accommodate 1068 students from Years 7 to 13. We moved into our brand new building in September 2016 and opened the sixth form in September 2018.
Our school site has an impressive sports hall, a fully equipped auditorium and activities hall, large dining area, state of the art Science laboratories, Design and Technology and Food Technology rooms, as well as outside access to an all-weather pitch, multi-use games area, football and rugby pitches.
Our supporting churches are listed on our Partnership page, With our Local Churches:
