Trinity School is a popular and oversubscribed Christian Free School in Sevenoaks. We received 691 applications for 180 school places for September 2024 new student intake.

Job Pathway: Teacher Training Programme
Our teacher training sets you on the path to becoming an excellent teacher. One who will inspire the next generation to succeed.
We have partnered with Teach Kent & Sussex to offer an 11-month intensive teacher training programme, where you can be placed at our school.
Here are five reasons why you should join our teaching training programme:
- Train in one school: You’ll do most of your training one school, which could be Trinity School. This gives you immediate opportunities to put the theory you’ve learned into practice in a classroom, supported by expert teachers.
- Be guided by a fully trained mentor: To ensure you’re supported throughout your training; we match you with an experienced teacher who will guide you every step of the way.
- Benefit from blended learning: You’ll get the high-quality academic training you'd expect to get from a university combined with immersive, classroom learning.
- Become a qualified teacher. After successfully completing the programme, you’ll achieve qualified teacher status (QTS), and a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) enabling you to start your career in teaching right away.
- Earn a decent salary. Teachers earn a starting salary of at least £31,000, with head teachers earning upwards of £120,000 in some schools. Teachers are also entitled to a substantial pension and generous holidays.
To be eligible, you will need:
- GCSE 4/C or above in Maths and English (and Science if training in Primary), or equivalent.
- An undergraduate bachelor's degree with honours, generally 2:2 or above, or equivalent.
Option of part-time training: A part-time option is also available over two years, but not all partner schools are able to offer this option.

About the Admissions Department
The Admissions Team is responsible for managing the admissions process for students joining the school in years 7-11 with input across the full admissions cycle from initial enquiries to student enrolment. Working with the Admissions Manager you will be the main point of contact for admissions queries. The role involves communication with parents/carers and other local stakeholders and requires a focus on fairness and compliance in line with the Admissions Code.
About You
We are looking for a flexible, highly effective, efficient and organised Admissions Officer to support our Admissions Manager with admissions processes for the Year 7 intake and In Year admissions for years 7 – 11.
Core responsibilities will focus primarily on overseeing the dayâtoâday processing of applications for both the main Year 7 intake and inâyear admissions, responding to enquiries via email and phone, and supporting Admissions events and operational activities. The successful candidate will be required to maintain accurate records, update and develop the Applicaa admissions system and the admissions section of the school website.
Previous work experience in admissions administration as well as working in a school environment is essential and applicants must demonstrate a good understanding of the concept of internal and external customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills e.g. Excel and Word to an intermediate level. A Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for working with children and good working knowledge of SIMS or other school systems would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

About the Business Department
Business is a hugely popular subject at Trinity School. Over half of our students pick the subject at GCSE and it has been consistently popular in the sixth form. Many of our students intend to run their own businesses as adults and business at university is consistently popular.
At Key Stage 4 we teach the Edexcel GCSE course. At Key Stage 5 we teach both AQA A level Business, CTEC Business and Edexcel Economics B. There are two A level classes and one CTEC class in each of year 12 and 13.
About You
You will be committed to the development and progress of students, able to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and you will be the sort of person who enjoys a collaborative team working style, relishes a challenge and is resilient. We are interested in hearing from candidates who are either newly qualified or have 2 – 3 years’ experience of teaching Business and must be able to teach to A level. It is an advantage to be able to teach Economics, but this isn’t essential.

About the DT Team
The Design & Technology department at Trinity School are a passionate and collaborative team, keen to enhance the learning and outcomes of students. Currently at Key stage 3, our curriculum runs on a rotation basis consisting of Food Preparation and Nutrition, Textile Design, and Resistant Materials. At Key stage 4 we offer two GSCE courses - AQA Design & Technology and WJEC Hospitality and Catering. At KS5, AQA Product Design A level is offered. We have 3 full time and 1 part time members of staff and 3 part time technicians within in our team.
About You
While the successful candidate will support the department across all areas, they will have a particular focus on food. Tasks will include preparing equipment ingredients for lessons, maintaining the classrooms and equipment and ensuring that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
You will be responsible for supporting teachers and students in lesson and providing general assistance to the department. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene is essential with previous experience of working in a school environment being desirable.
Candidates need to be adept at monitoring, maintaining and ordering equipment and consumables.
A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to organise, prioritise and deal with a demanding workload, which may require standing for long periods, is vital. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work independently or in a team and have a professional approach.
Candidates will be a confident and competent user of ICT with good MS office skills e.g. Word and Excel. Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for working with children is essential.

About the PE Department
At Trinity School, the Physical Education department is a passionate, collaborative, and forward-thinking team committed to developing physically literate, socially confident, and independent learners. We aim to inspire students to understand and value the importance of leading an active and healthy lifestyle, recognising the wide-ranging physical, mental, and social benefits of lifelong participation in physical activity.
The department has a strong culture of high expectations and inclusive practice, with a focus on maximising student engagement and achievement. We offer a broad and ambitious curriculum, complemented by an extensive extracurricular programme, and regularly compete in local, regional, and national competitions across sports such as rugby, netball, and football. Participation in sport continues to grow across the school, and we are committed to sustaining this through innovative, creative, and inclusive sporting opportunities.
Academically, the department has recently transitioned to the NCFE Health and Fitness qualification at Key Stage 4. At Key Stage 5, we deliver the highly popular BTEC National Extended Certificate and BTEC National Diploma in Sport, supporting students in progressing to further education and careers within the sports industry. Experience of delivering these qualifications would be advantageous, though not essential.
