The Growing Hope Team

Chaplaincy growing hope teamWe are so thankful to Janet Phythian, Martin Levett and Levi Lee who run Trinity's Growing Hope Team! Each week students learn about the impact of climate change through the process of growing vegetables organically, and this is through the Trinity Service and Co-Curricular programmes each Wednesday.

Janet leads the team through her expertise in teaching 'Farming God's Way' principles to our students as they reflect on the impact of climate change, both locally and globally. Janet knows first hand the impact climate change has on poorer nations as she runs the Africa Naturally Farm in Mozambique. Janet is also a missionary through                                           her work with Growing Hope in Mozambique and is supported by St Nicholas Church.

Josh amottJosh Amott

I remember being in a meeting about 10 years ago when someone mentioned the idea of opening a new secondary school in Sevenoaks founded on Christian values, it has been a real privilege to have seen this idea become reality. I work at a local Church as a Youth and Children's worker and as part of my role, I love being able to come and spend time in some of our local schools. I am passionate about young people being able to grow up knowing their worth and value is not solely attached to the letters and numbers that end up on their exam papers, for our young people to have places where they can truly know belonging and understand a holistic approach to life. In my free time I'm a big Charlton Athletic fan and sometimes even manage to convince my wife to come with me to matches, we also love spending time with friends out and about in the wonderful countryside around us. We attend Bessel's Green Baptist Church where I also work and grew up, we love our Church family and hugely value the community that comes with being part of a Church.
