Year 12 Product Design students visited the Design Museum this week for a hands-on workshop on chair design. They explored iconic chairs, learned about ergonomics, materials, and design principles, before creating their own original ideas. The experience encouraged creativity, teamwork, and practical problem-solving, deepening their understanding of functional, sustainable, and innovative design processes. They then visited the iconic Conran Store to soak up some classic pieces of lighting design, forming research for their next project.
